Northern Lehigh and Panther Valley rolled to wrestling wins over the weekend, while Tamaqua got wins in both boys and girls basketball.

In other action, Panther Valley and Palmerton also notched girls basketball victories.

Palmerton

-Northern Lehigh

Northern Lehigh showed their strength against Palmerton, downing the Bombers 62-10 on the mat.

The 'Dawgs got pins from Lucas Dise, Conner Hedash, Zane Heller, Nikko Stevens and Kyle Greenawald.

Meanwhile, Kane Kralik picked up a pin for the Bombers, while Mike Englert nabbed a major decision.

The Falcons jumped out to a 22-3 lead in the first quarter and soared over the Bombers for a 65-29 Colonial League win.

Sean Baker had a team-high 13 points, while Sam Cochrane added 11.

For Palmerton, Derek Haas, Tyler Kravetz and Zach Freed all had six.

The Lady Bombers pulled out another win over the weekend with a 59-50 Colonial League win over Salisbury.

Kelsey Hay's 20 points was high for her team, as teammate Casey Rinfret followed closely with 14. Kristen Romano's 12 and Katie Reimer's 11 helped the effort.

For Salisbury, Caitlin Hrebik had a game-high 28 points.

The Lady Raiders outlasted Moravian Academy in non-league basketball action for a 79-52 win in what was the first loss of the season for the Lions.

Amy Zehner led all scorers with 33 points in the game, while teammate Cassie Eroh added 14. Zehner's 14 caroms, along with 10 boards for Eroh provided both with double-doubles.

For MA, Maggie Reilly had a team-high 30 points.

Tamaqua also won the JV contest with a 51-27 preliminary score.
