Rt. 209 improvement project begins

Workers on top of the Mansion House Hill on Route 209 just outside of Jim Thorpe have begun preliminary work on the highway improvement project between the county seat town and Lehighton. While traffic cones ran the full length of the hill, traffic at the time was moving smoothly.
