Tamaqua JVs win So. Lehigh tournament

The Tamaqua Area High School Junior Varsity girls basketball team won the championship of the Southern Lehigh Christmas Tournament on Dec. 29-30. The junior Lady Raiders defeated Harriton 47-22 and Stroudsburg 29-24 in the title game. Team members include, front row from left, Taylor Urban, Christine Streisel and Caitlin Trainer. Second row, Maria Streisel, Allie Knepper and Nichole Slivka. Third row, Alex Wagner, Janelle Cinicola and Haylee Darker. Amanda Solt and Amanda Hinkle are also members of the team. The Raider varsity also won the championship of the Southern Lehigh tournament.
