Attains dean's list

Matthew Drury of Jim Thorpe attained the dean's list at Penn State Hazleton Campus, where he is in his sophomore year. He maintained a 4.0 GPA for the fall semester.

Drury plans to major in aerospace engineering. He is also currently working toward his pilot's license and made his solo flight on Sept. 9, 2009.

He is a 2008 graduate of Jim Thorpe Area High School and is the son of Mary Anne Lenyo-Drury and David Drury.
