They enrich their lives one client at a time to help them reach their financial goals.

In truth, Maron Financial Solutions wouldn't want it any other way, nor would any of its customers, for that matter.

For its customer-oriented service, the firm has been chosen as Business of the Month by the Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce.

Situated at 7540 Windsor Drive, Suite 201, Allentown, the business has been in operation since 2002, when owner Drew Maron chose to use his experience at PPL Utilities as an Independent Financial Planner/Advisor.

"I found it as kind of a niche market to help others," Maron said. "Our area of expertise is retirement and educational planning, and we also do help with estate planning purposes as well."

Maron said its crucial for his clients to map out their financial future - specifically retirement and education - and to pay themselves first and begin to save immediately.

"People are in transition, and cash flow is a concern," he said. "We try to help make sure people do not make poor decisions with their retirement funds."

Maron, who worked for PPL for 22 years, said he got into the financial service business, at which point he hired a financial adviser.

"We do financial planning and or practice business," he said. "We try to help people make best decisions with their money."

Maron said he was "flattered" after being selected by the chamber for the accolade.

"I think the area is a wonderful area, and I'd like to continue to support it to help the whole area move forward," he said. "I think the chamber is doing a good job, and I'd like to continue to support it."
