Local artists featured at Palmerton Library's Art Show and Lunch

One of the local artists who will have art work on display for sale at the annual Palmerton Area Library Art Show and Lunch on Sunday, Jan. 24, is right, Jeanne Stemler of Palmerton. She is holding her oil painting of three local Carbon County barns that are now no longer standing. Diane Danielson, the library's director, left, says that there will be about 50 works of art available. The event will include a delicious soup and sandwich lunch provided by the Friends of the Library. The art show will be from 12-3 p.m. Tickets are available at the library.
