The engagement of Jennifer Farrell of Jim Thorpe to Ryan Baker of Pine Bush, N.Y., has been announced by her parents.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Lawrence and Kathleen Farrell of Jim Thorpe. She is a 2002 graduate of Jim Thorpe Area High School and a 2006 graduate of East Stroudsburg University.
She earned her doctorate at Sage Graduate School in New York in 2009. She is employed as a doctor of physical therapy.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Dianne Baker, Pine Bush, and the late Bill Baker. He is a 2003 graduate of Pine Bush High School, and received his HVAC certification in 2009 from Ulster BOCES in New York. He is employed by Russin Lumber in New York.
A wedding date has not been set.
