On the dean's list at Misericordia Univ.

Lauren Kaylie Marek has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2009 semester at Misericordia University in Dallas.

She is enrolled in the medical imaging program and obtained a 3.96 GPA.

Marek will do her clinicals at Mercy Hospital in Scranton three days a week. Currently a junior, she expects to graduate in the spring of 2011 and continue education, specializing in diagnostic sonography at Misercordia.

Marek is a 2007 graduate of Panther Valley High School and is the daughter of Larry and Kathy Marek of Summit Hill.
