Jeannette Stewart and Carlton Knepper wed
Mr. and Mrs. Carlton N. Knepper
United Church of Christ, McAdoo, was the setting for the Aug. 8, 2009 wedding of Jeannette Stewart, daughter of Alvin and Jeannette Stewart of McAdoo, and Carlton N. Knepper, son of Angie Knepper of Tamaqua and the late Carlton Knepper. The Rev. Al Walton officiated.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her niece, Brittany Stewart of Haddock, as maid of honor.
Best man honors were performed by Jacob Knepper, Coaldale, son of the bridegroom. Bradley Lentz, McAdoo, son of the bride, served as ring bearer.
The new Mrs. Knepper is a graduate of the McCann School of Business and Technology, earning an associate degree in business administration. She is employed by the Center for Advanced Surgery, Hazleton, as the business office manager.
Mr. Knepper is a graduate of Delaware Valley College, where he earned a bachelor's degree. He is employed by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, as a project manager.
The couple received family and friends at the Top Shelf in Hazleton, before leaving on a wedding trip to Cape May, N.J.
They reside in McAdoo.
