Area couple celebrates golden anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Norwood Ohl of Tamaqua will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 20.

They were married in St. John United Church of Christ, Tamaqua.

Mrs. Ohl is the former Dolores Ruch and is retired from the garment industry. Her husband is retired from the Parish Steel Corporation.

The couple has two children: Frank of Tamaqua; and Norma, married to Kenny Dodson of York. They also have one grandson, John Ohl; and a great grandson, Jonathan Ohl.
