Tamaqua Rapids

Rivers and streams were running high and fast throughout our area over the weekend after the combination of melting snow and constant rain. Pictured is the Little Schuylkill River at the bottom of Hometown Hill in Tamaqua. Even though the river didn't shows signs of flooding or overflowing, it still engulfed surrounding trees and vegetation.
