March 26, 2004 Jen Bensinger fires a one-hitter and strikes out 16 batters to lead Tamaqua to 7-0 softball win over Lehighton in its season opener. Bensinger allows a single to the game's first batter, Sam Markley, and then doesn't allow another one the rest of the contest. The Raiders receive run-scoring singles from Nicole Miller and Bernadette Guy while Lauren Smetana adds a triple.
