Creitz inducted into Tamaqua Wrestling Hall of Fame
The Tamaqua Area High School Wrestling Hall of Fame committee recently inducted its newest member, Ronald G. Creitz II, a 1996 graduate. During his four year wrestling career, Creitz had an overall record of 76-24, was a three time letter winner and was captain of the team in both his junior and senior years. In his senior season, Ron placed 4th at the PIAA Regional tournament, 3rd at the District 11 tournament and 3rd at the Schuylkill League tournament. He was awarded the Tamaqua Most Outstanding Wrestler Award and Tamaqua Team Leader Award. In his junior year, he was 2nd at the Schuylkill League tournament and 6th at the District 11 tournament.
