Icy roads cause crashes

Nesquehoning and state police were kept busy Tuesday afternoon investigating numerous accidents along a snow and ice covered Route 93. The rain changed into snow and ice shortly after noon. Motorists apparently failed to slow down in the weather and paid the price.
