Kebra Faye Schaller graduated with honors from Marywood University May 9 with a bachelor's degree of science in clinical psychology.

She is the daughter of Kevin and Deborah Schaller of Coaldale, and a 2006 graduate of Panther Valley High School.

While at Marywood, Schaller was employed by the psychology department and also as a psychology tutor. She held the offices of council of clubs as well as vice president of the Marywood Psychology Club. She was also inducted into the Psy Chi National Honor Society in Psychology as a lifelong member. Her internship was completed at the Friendship House in Scranton.

As a gift for her graduation, Schaller's parents surprised her with her high school ring, a piece of jewelry with an infamous history. In 2005, Schaller lost her ring during an outdoor gym class at PVHS. Last spring, her brother Kevin and family friend Danielle Erbe discovered the ring on the track surrounding the school's football practice field. Schaller was said to be overjoyed at the return of her wayward jewelry.

Schaller will continue her graduate studies at the University of Scranton, where she will pursue her master's degree in school counseling.
