Summit Hill couple wed 25 years

Mr. and Mrs. George York of Summit Hill are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary.

They were married on June 15, 1985 at Immaculate Conception Church in Jim Thorpe by the Rev. Michael S. Lawrence.

Mrs. York is the former Patricia Boyle, daughter of the late Walter and Alberta Boyle of Jim Thorpe. She is a housewife.

Mr. York is the son of Rose York of Summit Hill and George R. York of White Haven.

He is a retired state employee, currently working at Wal-Mart in Hometown.

The couple are the parents of two children: Sharon and Daniel both of Summit Hill.

The Yorks celebrated their anniversary with a party given in their honor.
