Theft incidents probed in Tamaqua
Tamaqua police are investigating two thefts reported this week.
Casey Williams, of Lansford, reported that someone pried open the rear trunk lid of his red BMW, which was parked near 427 E. Broad St.
The incident was reported to police at 8:20 on Jan. 25. According to the report the car was left in the area after it had broken down earlier this month.
The second incident was reported on Jan. 26, although it was discovered on Jan. 20. Someone entered a garage at 334 Hazle St. and removed various hand tools and circular saws owned by Donald Nunemacher.
Anyone with information on either incident is asked to call police at 668-6100.
