Theft from vehicles; mischief incident

State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a theft from vehicles and criminal mischief incident.

The theft from vehicles incident occurred along Switzgable Drive, in Brodheadsville, Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. Timothy John Hinton, 29, reported his Subaru Outback was entered while parked in the driveway of his home and removed was two cases of CDs. A Chevrolet Trailblazer also parked at the same location was entered and removed was one case of CDs, a I-phone charger and one box of vanilla cigars. The entry occurred sometime between 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 15, and 7 a.m. on Saturday.

The criminal mischief incident was reported by Glenn W. Kendrick, 18, of McKinley Circle, Effort, Chestnuthill Township. He reported that his four Hankook snow tires on his 2002 Chevrolet Malibu were flatened by someone who used a sharp object. The incident occurred sometime between 5:50 and 6:01 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 16.
