Historical society
The Eldred Township Historical Society will meet on Tuesday, Jan. 19 at 7 p.m. at the Eldred Twp. municipal building in Kunkletown. It is "Wedding Sharing Night." Everyone attending should bring in wedding photos, gowns, memorabilia, etc. of your own, parents, grandparents or anything that is wedding related.
If you've been wondering what the society is all about, come out and visit. They're always looking for new members.
Red Cross blood drive
Red Cross is always in need of the gift of blood and now more than ever with the recent disaster in Haiti. Please consider giving blood at the next blood drive on Thursday, Jan. 21 from 1-6 p.m. at the Kunkletown Volunteer Fire Co.
Eldred Elementary
There will be an Eldred Elementary PTO Family Fun Night on Friday, Jan. 22 from 6-8 p.m.
