Our Lady of the Angels Academy sets Catholic Schools Week

Published January 21. 2010 05:00PM

Our Lady of the Angels Academy, Lansford, one of the Catholic Schools within the Diocese of Allentown, will hold its annual Catholic Schools Week Program and Activities beginning on Jan. 31.

Prospective students, their families, members of existing school families, parish members, and community residents are welcome to attend an Open House on Sunday, Jan. 31 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.

The events at the school are part of the nationwide celebration of Catholic education. This year's theme, "Catholic Schools: Dividends for Life," emphasizes the commitment of schools like OLOAA to offer the foundation of the Catholic faith, Christian Values, knowledge, morals, and discipline that prepare students for successful futures.

During the week, administration, faculty, and students will take time to reflect on how life in our parishes, community, and nation has a positive impact on OLOAA in countless ways. Time will be taken to thank those who make OLOAA a place of outstanding excellence and celebration.

Kindergarten and new student registration will take place throughout the week between the hours of 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. or by appointment by calling the school office.

Our Lady of the Angels Academy serves students from preschool through grade eight of all religious, racial, ethnic, and income backgrounds.

For more information on the curriculum, admission policies, and registration contact the school office at 570-645-7101 or visit www.oloa.net. Financial aid is available.
