Lake Hauto couple celebrates 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Totani Sr. of Lake Hauto recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on a Caribbean cruise.

They were married April 20, 1960 at St. Jerome's Catholic Church in Tamaqua by the Rev. Edward Kenney.

Mrs. Totani is the former Nancy Angelus, daughter of the late Rose and Oliver Angelus of Lake Hauto.

Mr. Totani is the son of Ida Totani and the late Dominic Totani of Lake Hauto.

The couple are the parents of three children, Nicholas Totani Jr. and Joseph Totani, both of Lake Hauto, and Donna, wife of William Granick of Lexington Park, Md.

They have three grandchildren: Dominique, of Lake Hauto; Leighton and Gianna, both of Maryland.
