Monroe man facing drug violations

A Mt. Pocono man was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Hakeem Joseph, 20, was stopped on Deerfield Drive in Mt. Pocono by Pocono Mountain Regional police for motor vehicle code violations. Joseph consented to a search of his vehicle and police found a large amount of both small and large plastic baggies and a digital scale containing narcotic residue.
