Student charged after bus incident
A Pocono Mountain School District student was charged with harassment after an altercation on a school bus.
The incident happened at 3:09 p.m. Jan. 21 according to a report released by Pocono Mountain Regional police. The bus was on SR611 near Fairview Avenue in Mt. Pocono. Bus driver James Snare told police two students had gotten into an altercation and that the girl had hit the boy in the face. While police were investigating the girl became unruly and cursed at police and the bus monitor, Francis Sarullo.
She was asked to get off the bus, but continued cursing at police. Once off the bus she continued to be unruly and was placed in a police vehicle. After police finished their investigation they took her to her house and released her to her parents. She was charged with harassment and disorderly conduct.
