Summit Hill home break-in

Police from Summit Hill are investigating the forced entry of a home in the units block of East Fell Street Monday night.

The back of the residence was entered at about 9:40 p.m., startling the homeowner. The intruder, described as a thin white male, between five-foot-10 inches and six feet tall, fled. Lansford police assisted searching for the man, who was not found.

Police are advising residents to keep their doors locked and to call 911 if they hear strange noises in or around their homes.

In other police news, Jefferson Bachinski, 46, of 12 E. Hazard St., was cited for disorderly conduct after a domestic incident at 1:06 a.m. Dec. 17.

Alexander Diehl, 19, of 710 Winged Foot Drive, Aiken, S.C., was cited for disorderly conduct after a disturbance outside a house on N. Oak Street at 6:12 p.m. Dec. 26.
