Woman robbed in Schuylkill

A Schuylkill County woman was the victim of what police called a '"strong arm" robbery on Sunday. State police at Frackville said the incident occurred about 2:30 a.m. in the 200 block of W. Mount Vernon St., in Shenandoah.

Troopers said Marion Andrewwsky, 65, of Shenandoah, was walking at the above stated location when a male grabbed her purse and pushed her to the ground. He then fled east on Mount Vernon.

The attacker was described as a Hispanic male in his late teens to early 20s, black hair, about five-feet, four-inches tall. Andrewsky was not injured.
