Lehigh driver in Carbon mishap

A Lehigh County driver was involved in an accident along SR248 in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County, about 2:50 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 25.

State police at Lehighton said Antione V. Acosta, 31, of Schnecksville, was driving a 2003 Honda Accord westbound in the left lane when the front driver side struck a boulder that was in the lane of travel. The car continued northwest onto the north shoulder.

Acosta sustained a minor injury in the crash, troopers said, and was treated at the scene by Lehighton EMS unit personnel.
