'The Honky Tonk Angels' opens Friday

If you love country music, you won't want to miss "The Honky Tonk Angels" at the Pines Dinner Theatre, 448 N. 17th St. in Allentown.
It's the story of three gutsy gals who are determined to follow their dreams and head to Nashville. This musical comedy was written by Ted Swindley and directed by Oliver Blatt, and stars Stacey B. Yoder as "Darlene," Erin Baltsar as "Angela" and Stephanie Rubeo as "Sue Ellen."
Rounded out with a live three-piece country band and three-part harmonies, this show combines over 30 classic country hits, including "I'll Fly Away" and "Stand by Your Man."
The show runs Friday through Oct. 23. Matinees are 12:30 p.m. for dinner, 2 p.m. show on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Evenings are 6:30 p.m. for dinner, 8 p.m. show on Fridays and Saturdays.
