Hit-and-run driver is sought

A hit-and-run driver is being sought in Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said the hit and run occurred in the 300 block of E. Pine St., in Cumbola, Blythe Township. A vehicle sideswiped a parked Chevrolet pickup truck at the above-stated location and the driver fled the scene. The struck vehicle is owned by Jonathan Bowers, of Cumbola, troopers said. The incident occurred about 10:15 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 29.

The hit-and-run vehicle was described as an older model, a blue and silver or blue and white Ford F150 pickup truck. It should have minor damage to the passenger side door and is also missing the passenger side rear view mirror.
