Court employee salaries established in Carbon County

The Carbon County Salary Board set the salaries for county employees in the court system for 2010 during its annual meeting on Monday. Motions to establish this year's salaries were made by President Judge Roger N. Nanovic II.

Court Administration

·Established the position of one law clerk** at $33,069.40 per year;

·Established the position of two law clerk** at $31,158.40 per year;

·Established the position of one certified court reporter at $22.81 per hour;

·Established the position of one certified court reporter at $21.50 per hour;

·Established the position of one certified court reporter at $20.27 per hour;

·Established the position of one judicial secretary at $18.95 per hour;

·Established the position of one lead judicial secretary at $18.40 per hour;

·Established the position of one judicial secretary at $16.35 per hour;

·Established the position of one administrative assistant at $13.42 per hour;

·Established the position of one administrative assistant at $12.65 per hour;

·Established the position of one department clerk III, also jury selection commission at $11.60 per hour;

·Established the position of one part-time court reporting monitor* at $12.04 per hour;

·Established the position of six tipstaffs* (500 days total) at $90.71 per day

Court Computer Information Systems

·Established the position of one director/computer systems at $42,588 per year;

·Established the position of one computer assistant at $14.10 per hour

·Established the position of one department clerk I at $10.03 per hour;

·Established the position of one deputy chief juvenile probation officer at $21.85 per hour;

·Established the position of one probation officer II at $19.85 per hour;

·Established the position of one probation officer II at $19.27 per hour;

·Established the position of one probation officer I at $15.08 per hour;

·Established the rate of $40 per day for primary on-call pay; and $25 per day for backup on-call pay

Domestic Relations

·Established the position of one domestic relations director at $51,742.60 per year;

·Established the position of one domestic relations assistant director at $26.86 per hour;

·Established the position of one intake officer II at $17.48 per hour;

·Established the position of one domestic relations support representative at $13.16 per hour;

·Established the position of one domestic relations specialist II at $13.05 per hour;

·Established the position of one domestic relations specialist II at $11.94 per hour;

·Established the position of one domestic relations specialist II at $11.60 per hour;

·Established the position of one department clerk I at $10.03 per hour;

·Established the position of one domestic relations hearing officer at $25,999 per year;

·Established the position of one domestic relations officer II at $21.91 per hour;

*Excluded from retirement plan not anticipated to work 1,000 hours.
