Traffic stop finds wanted person
Pocono Mountain Regional police stopped a black Mercedes-Benz along SR196 in Coolbaugh Township about 1:10 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 19, when officers did not see a state inspection sticker on the window of the car.
During the traffic stop police determined that a passenger, Steven Santos, had an active warrant for his arrest through Stroud Area Regional police. Santos was arrested without incident and transported to the Monroe County prison.
