Plowers
Just a quick note to the guys who manned the snowplows yesterday and today.
You did a great job, considering the circumstances.
This goes for the PennDOT crews and the local workers who are responsible for snow removal in the boroughs and townships.
Yes, there will be people griping that you didn't plow this, or didn't plow that. Or that you plowed in their driveway. But that's human nature. Griping is a luxury afforded to anyone who's stuck in blizzard conditions. Who else are they going to blame for this mess, Mother Nature?
Even the state's top executive noticed.
Governor Edward G. Rendell said: "Everywhere in Pennsylvania, the state's emergency responders did a fantastic job battling this latest snow storm."
We all know you worked your rear ends off yesterday. Some of you worked around the clock. And it's not over yet.
We all weathered a monumental storm, and we'll continue to weather it as the massive cleanup continues.
But we just wanted to take a minute to thank you guys for doing your job and helping us get to our jobs this morning.
Good work.
