A New York and Susquehanna freight train, headed for Allentown, slammed into the side of a Rock Hill Cement Company truck this morning in Parryville, injuring the driver of the truck and flipping the cement vehicle onto its side. The 30-car train was headed east to Allentown and was traveling about 30 miles-per-hour when it hit the truck, according to Tom Gallagher of Wilkes-Barre, the train's conductor. The driver of the truck apparently failed to observe the train, state police said.
