Schuylkill crash

One driver was charged following a two-vehicle crash that occurred about 3:05 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 26, along SR901 in Cass Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said Linda L. Zakrezewski, 47, of Coal Township, Northumberland County, was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Impala eastbound when she lost control and crossed into the westbound lane. Her car struck a trailer being towed by Kurt A. Gilbert, 55, of Schuylkill Haven, who was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado Z71 pickup truck.

No one was injured. Damages were severe to the Impala, moderate to the trailer and none to the Silverado.

Troopers cited Zakrezewski for driving a vehicle at an (un) safe speed.
