Community Lent Services

Northern Lehigh Community Lent Services will be held each Wednesday night at 7 p.m.

The Slatington area churches will join together for mid-week services. Worship will be followed by fellowship with refreshments.

The 2010 biblical theme is "The Words of Jesus Spoken from His Cross."

The schedule of Lenten services is as follows: Feb. 24, Friedens Church/Rev. LeVan; March 3, St. John's Lutheran/Rev. Mohr; March 10, United Presbyterian/Rev. Haab; March 17, St. John's UCC/Rev. Zimmerman; March 24, Slatington Baptist/Rev. Diefenderfer.

St. John's Lenten Services

St. John's United Church of Christ, 15 South Second St., Slatington, will hold a community mid-week Lenten service on Feb. 24.
