February 16, 1962 Seven players reach double figures in scoring and Jim Thorpe sets a new Black Diamond League record by rolling to a 127-46 victory over visiting Pleasant Valley. Jack Morgan and George Armbruster combine for 25 points in the opening frame as the Olympians, coached by Kenny Kline, build a 42-8 lead. Morgan finishes with a game-high 31 points while Armbruster nets 18. The winners, who hit the century mark in the third quarter, also receive 16 points from Art Guth. Paul Hydro, Don Deemer, Dave Bryfogle and Jim Strubinger all finish with 12 points.
