Not getting answers

Dear Editor:

I have been living in Jim Thorpe for about 8 yrs, and have been paying taxes when I don't own property. I cannot get a call back with answers as to when I will get reimbursed for taxes that could be accumulating interest from the tax collectors office. Nor could I get any help/answers from the courthouse.

The person who answered my telephone call at the courthouse said she is only there for the courthouse employees. That's funny, don't you think they could forward your call to a person who could answer your question?

The people at the courthouse dress like hookers and don't even look to cross the street like they are a tourist and you should look out for them. Jim Thorpe is going to pot.
