Monroe driver cited for hit/run

A Monroe County driver was cited for hit and run.

Pocono Mountain Regional police were called to a hit-and-run accident at the intersection of state routes 611 and 196, about 10:55 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 3.

Police said one of the drivers involved followed the hit-and-run vehicle north into Pocono Farms East before the driver stopped.

Police arrived on scene and arrested the driver, identified as Atara Kube, 22, of Tobyhanna.

Kube was charged with accidents involving damage to attended vehicle or property, driving on roadways laned for traffic, reckless driving and duty to render aid and provide information.
