Tamaqua teens admit to painting spree
The three teens involved in a criminal mischief spree in Tamaqua Monday evening have been identified and are cooperating with Tamaqua Police. The three males admitted to going on a spray painting spree Monday evening, targeting dozens of vehicles and homes, as well as several public institutions.
The case was solved, according to Tamaqua Police Chief Dave Mattson, "thanks in large part to a witness, security footage and the combined efforts of the entire police department, especially Officers Karl Harig, Tom Rodgers and Matt Bynon."
Charges will be filed with juvenile authorities after all the damage estimates have been compiled.
