Community meeting

The third in a series of community meetings will be held this evening, Thursday, at 7 o'clock at the Phoenix Fire Company, West Broadway. Mayor Mike Sofranko, Chief of Police Joseph Schatz and members of the council will be on hand to answer any questions and concerns you might have about your neighborhoods.

Touchdown Club

The first meeting of the year for members of the Jim Thorpe Touchdown Club will be held on Feb. 16, at 6 p.m. in the commons area of the high school. Parents of participants in the Jim Thorpe football program are asked to attend and help in any way with the upcoming football season.
