Theft from vehicle incident is probed

The theft from a vehicle incident is being probed by state police at Lehighton.

Troopers said the 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier of John Montesrin, 30, of Nesquehoning, was entered while parked at 281 Main St., Parryville, Carbon County. Entry was made sometime between Feb. 28 and March 2.

Removed from the car was a U.S. amp crossover, Sony Explode 1000 and 600, and a Memphis 12 speaker box. The stolen items had an estimated value of $975.
