Vehicle suit
Brian Dubin, 18 Hatchery Rd., Jim Thorpe, filed a civil complaint against the Ford Motor Company, Box 4301, Detroit, Mich., over the purchase of a 2004 Ford F250 truck.
The suit states the truck was purchased new and with various warranties. The suit, filed under the state Lemmon Law, alleges "due to ineffective repair attempts by authorized dealers" the truck is "rendered substantially impaired, unable to be utilized for its intended purposes, and deem worthless" to the plaintiff. The problems concerning the vehicle is detailed in the suit.
Sought is a judgment against the defendant in an amount "not in excess of, together with all collateral charges, fees and costs" plus treble damages.
