Marian beat Holy Redeemer in girls basketball action on Thursday.

Marian jumped out to an early lead and went on to upset Holy Redeemer, 54-45, in a non-league game.
Jen Linkchorst sparked the Fillies' attack with 16 points. Danielle Tristani and Kaysi McLaughlin chipped in with 13 and 11 points respectively for Marian (15-7).
Olivia Francisco led Holy Redeemer (17-5) with 19 points.

Schuylkill Haven routed host Tamaqua 71-44 in a non-league game.
Evan Marceau poured in 26 points for the Hurricanes (11-11).
Michael Gurcsik tallied 14 points and Spencer Bennett contributed 10 for the Blue Raiders, who concluded their season with a 6-16 record.
Tamaqua won the JV game. 52-39. Jake Fegley connected for 15 points for the Raiders.
