Tamaqua woman cited at high rise

A Tamaqua woman faces charges after allegedly physically confronting a neighbor on Monday.

According to police, Jean Hoffman, a resident of the ABC Tamaqua High Rise, 222 E. Broad St., knocked on another resident's door to discuss parking rules.

At that time, Barbara Detweiller allegedly left a neighboring apartment, grabbed Hoffman by the coat and shook her, suggesting she mind her own business.

Detweiller was cited for harassment.
