Hunter Trapper Safety Course

Pennsylvania Game Commission Hunter-Trapper Education classes will be held on June 12 and 13, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.

Register early as class fills quickly. No walk-ins, limited seating. No fee for course.

Lunches will be available at course for a nominal fee. Minimum Registration age is 11. Certification earned is required by Pennsylvania law for all first time hunters. Polk Township Historical Society

The Polk Township Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Monday, March 1, at the Polk Township Municipal Building in Kresgeville.

Following the business meeting, members will conduct a "Show and Tell" of items with historic interest from their personal collections.

Polk Elementary School PTO

The Polk PTO meeting will be at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 25, in the school library.

Condolences

Condolences to the family of Lerene Bruch who died on Friday, Feb. 19. She is survived by her children Gary Bruch and Shirley Haydt, eight grandchildren, nice great-grandchildren.
