Damages done to unoccupied home

State police at Fern Ridge said extensive damages were done to the interior of an unoccupied home.

The incident occurred at a home located at 108 Blue Ridge Drive, in the Lower Sierra View development in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. Unknown criminals entered the home by forcing the rear door. Once inside they destroyed the interior by putting holes in the walls and writing on them. The contents that were left in the residence had been thrown about the house and anything that could be smashed was, troopers said. The incident occurred sometime between Dec. 18, 2009, and Monday, Feb. 22.

The residence is owned by Wells Fargo Home Mortgage Company with a Solon, Ohio, address.
