State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a retail theft incident at the CVS drug store located at SR209 and SR115 in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said on Wednesday, March 3, between 7:26 and 7:33 p.m. a white male entered the store and removed Pampers baby dry diapers, containing 26 diapers. He was described as being five-feet, nine-inches to six feet tall, with light brown hair, wearing a red, long-sleeve shirt and black sweatpants. He may be in his late 40s. Once he left the store with the diapers he was confronted by a store employee. He then fled the scene with the second suspect in a gold-colored vehicle, possibly a Mercury, headed northbound on SR115.
