Lesh, Weir B-52's are coming to the Peak

Three more shows have been announced for Penn's Peak.

They are:

* May 7 - Dennis DeYoung: The Music of Styx. Tickets are $42 and $37 and go on sale March 20.

* June 29 - Further featuring Phil Lesh and Bob Weir, 7 p.m. Tickets, $39.50, go on sale this coming Saturday.

* July 15 - The B-52's. Tickets $47 and $42 go on sale March 27.

Both Lesh and Weir arefounding members of the Grateful Dead and playedwith the Dead throughout its 30 year career.

Separately, theyhave had sold-out concerts at Penn's Peak. Weir had appeared with his band RatDog.

Further was formed last year and also includes John Kadlecik of Dark Star Orchestra playing guitar, Jeff Chimenti of RatDog on keyboards, Jay Lane of RatDog on drums, and Joe Russo of the Benevento/Russo duo on drums.

Kadlecik and Dark Star Orchestra have had numerous visits to the Peak.

The B-52's are making their debut at Penn's Peak. The band is best known for the hit song "Love Shack."

The B-52'sfeature members Cindy Wilson, Kate Pierson,Fred Schneider,and Keith Strickland.

This is a return appearance for Dennis DeYoung: The Music of Styx.

DeYoung, a founding member ofthe band Styx, alsowas the composer and co-lyricist of "The 101 Dalmatians Musical."

With Styx, DeYoung acted as lead vocalist, keyboardist, accordion player, producer, writer and creative force behind many of the band's hit songs.
