DUI arrests reported
Two driving under the influence (DUI) arrests were reported by state police at Lehighton.
On Saturday, Feb. 27, about 9:27 p.m. troopers stopped Larry L. Keller, 35, of Lehighton, along Church Road at Fairyland Road, in Franklin Township, Carbon County, for several motor vehicle code violations. He was found to be under the influence and placed under arrest. He will be charged, troopers said.
On Sunday, Feb. 28, about 2:29 a.m. troopers stopped Christopher Novak, 25, of Brodheadsville, along Mountain View Drive, in Polk Township, Monroe County, for a traffic violation. He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest. The DUI charge is pending, troopers noted.
