Blue Mtn. student facing charges

Cody Meyer, 18, of Orwigsburg, has been charged by state police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks with simple assault as a result of an altercation that happened at 11:50 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, at the Blue Mountain High School in North Manheim Township.

Police said it is alleged Meyer became agitated with a victim (an unidentified juvenile) in the locker room following gym class and shoved him into the lockers, striking him several times in the face, causing bruising.
