Police correct name of suspect

State police have corrected the name of a person arrested for assaulting three police officers.

State police at Fern Ridge said Debra Ann Wilson, 46, of White Haven, Luzerne County, was charged with aggravated and simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment for an incident on Tuesday, Feb. 16, at about 4 p.m. The incident occurred at the barracks in Tobyhanna Township where Wilson was brought by Kidder Township police.

Troopers originally identified Wilson as Brenda Ann Wilson. An article concerning the incident appeared on page two of Wednesday's edition of the TIMES NEWS.
